An Introduction to Assisted Living

Here's an interesting line of thinking that will probably surprise you...People who live in Assited Living communities actually spend LESS time in nursing homes and hospitals than their age and wellness adjusted counterparts living in their own homes. Why? Think about the power of getting decent meals, keeping the mind sharp through simple social interaction, and reducing the stress that comes with home ownership.

Couple those healthful concepts with the fact that there are staff around who are "casually" observing the residents for changes in their day-to-day habits and all of a sudden that cold, flu, or even the occasional urinary tract infection is caught in the early stages before it morphs into something sinister.

Bridgeway Pointe is centrally located to many who live in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region. Located in close proximity to the Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway, Bridgeway Pointe is convenient to those who travel on I-75, I-71, I-275 and the Cross County Highway.

Greater Independence

Assisted living is designed to enhance life, not detract from it! Those who choose to move to Assisted Living communities often report that their level of independence is greater than when they lived in their own home. At Bridgeway Pointe, you’ll find a close-knit, vibrant community that is large enough to meet your needs but small enough to know your style.

I am so thankful. My mom is safe, comfortable and happy. I feel we have found her new home and a wonderful new life. We could not have asked for a better answer.

Multiple Levels of Assistance

In assisted living communities, some residents need very little assistance, such as meals and housekeeping. Others may need daily medication management, hands-on grooming, shower assistance or an escort to and from meals and events. Bridgeway Pointe also has world-class memory care services that promote individual wellness and a relaxed, comfortable lifestyle.

We chose Bridgeway Pointe not because all the checklists were complete, but because the staff we met during our tour were attentive to each resident and their needs.

Extra Support for Daily Life

Assisted living is for individuals who could benefit by some extra support for activities of daily living (called ADLs). Activities of Daily Living are such things as: dressing, bathing, taking medications, and preparing meals to name a few. We’re here to provide individualized support to help residents live independently, safely, and with a focus on wellness.

When you first visit Bridgeway Pointe, you'll hear laughter, see smiles on residents faces, beautiful surroundings, a safe, comfortable place to live and meet a staff that welcomes you like family.
